S L Capital Strategies LLC’s (SLCS) core business is to provide independent strategic and financial advisory services to assist clients with achieving their goals. SLCS is an employee owned company, organized in Delaware in April 2007. Our managing directors have a long and rich history in the student loan and municipal sectors, which is our core focus. SLCS is registered with the SEC (Registration #867-003456-00) and the MSRB (Registration #K0290) as a Municipal Advisor Firm.
Our managing directors average over 25 years of experience helping clients navigate challenging and tumultuous markets across all business cycles. Since inception SLCS has provided strategic and financial advisory services to over 80 different clients. We have completed a wide variety of assignments for clients, including advising on the issuance of over $7.9 billion in par amount of debt across the municipal tax-exempt, municipal taxable and asset-backed markets.

How We Work
Sophisticated analytics and cash flow modeling are central to the work we undertake for our clients. Among the analytical tools we use is the industry-standard cash flow modeling software developed by DBC. In addition, we have created numerous proprietary analytical tools in house, often tailored specifically to a particular engagement or client request. Combined, the analytical capabilities of SLCS rival those of any other advisory firm or Wall Street investment bank. Our services include financial and economic analyses, valuation and cash flow (including consolidated cash flows), securities issuance financial advisory (bond sizing, refunding analyses, pricing, rating agency requirements), business strategy consulting, merger and acquisition advisory and structured finance trust administration.
